<Note>
The National Diet Library is making efforts
to preserve library materials as cultural heritage for ever, while providing
them for public use. For that purpose, the NDL is digitizing its collection and
providing image data as a digital library service. In this Rare Books Image
Database, old materials are digitized untouched. Please understand that though
there is a possibility that some contents do not meet the social mores of
today, the database includes these images as academic and historical resources
that reflect the values and norms of this time.
For making links to the database and
reproduction of the content, see the Site Policy of the NDL website.
